Sandwell Academy is one of the top performing schools in the region. Every year over a thousand students apply to join the Academy in Year 7, while year on year our sixth form is heavily oversubscribed. We are seeking someone passionate about reading and literacy to manage the day to day operation of the Academy Library. The successful candidate will work in a highly motivated and dedicated team which is committed to providing excellent learning opportunities for young people.

Duties include:
* To identify and order the Library resources in association with Heads of Subjects within the Academy.
* To provide support to students working on computers in the Library.
* To produce a Library guide and information leaflets to support staff and students using the Library.
* To support with reading initiatives in liaison with the English department
