Platform Support Analyst job in the West Midlands. Hybrid full time role. £40,000 to £50,000 DOE

Your new company

Hays is working with a multinational manufacturing company based in the West Midlands. This company focusses on the manufacturing and distribution of machinery with presence worldwide and multiple offices in the UK offering 80% remote work. This fantastic organisation is looking for a Platform Support Analyst to join a growing global support team responsible for supporting and maintaining applications, performance metrics and KPIs and providing reporting and analytics solutions.

Your new role

The Platform Support Analyst will be an active member of the team, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction while providing support coverage and assistance. You will manage multiple customers, platforms and databases, having a passion for data and curiosity to solve problems. You will have great experience working and collaborating with technical and non-technical clients and teams and providing adequate support with great communication and interpersonal skills. You will understand data models and interdependencies with demonstrable experience constructing SQL statements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Thorough understanding of data models and data interdependencies
  • Ability to understand database relationships in MS SQL and ability to construct complex SQL statements and queries
  • Proven experience of data telemetry and data manipulation, including ETL procedures
  • Experience providing operational support for platforms, as well as, ITIL incident management and change management
  • Operational and data analysis support and reporting experience
