Hays is looking for an experienced QA Validation professional to join a renowned medical device company to support the team in their continuous growth.

What you'll need to succeed

The position of Validation Specialist is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for quality compliance, validation, technical documents and project management. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to progress your career in the booming medical device industry and work within a fantastic team.

Key attributes of the role:

  • Play a key part in creating and implementing validation strategies, development, training and mentoring to implement continuous improvement activities.
  • Contribute to risk-assessment activities.
  • Identifying non-conformances, lead on customer complaints and avoidance of product recalls.
  • Vast involvement in test method validation, inspection method and testing equipment qualifications.
  • All QMS Activities, Deviations, CAPAs, audit & inspection readiness.
  • Work effectively in a collaborative environment ensuring consistent compliance with regulatory requirements.

What you'll get in return

To be considered for the position of Validation Specialist you will need:

  • Experience working in a regulated environment in a medical device / pharmaceutical setting
  • GMP / GDP / GLP knowledge and experience is preferred
  • Good working knowledge of QMS activities, risk assessment activities, root cause analysis and quality improvement techniques.
  • Experience in validation activities in this setting, with a strategic mind to drive progress.
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Engineering etc).
  • Right to Work in the UK.
