Exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer with Wireless expertise at UAL

Digital & Technology at UAL is on an exciting journey, shifting from a technology-centric to a user-centric approach, investing in the people and processes enabled by digital and transforming the student and staff experience.

As an Infrastructure Engineer (Network) with expertise in Wireless, you will provide specialist support with the maintenance, development, security, and capacity management of the network. You’ll participate in internal and external networks to ensure the successful integration and delivery of IT services across the University, maintain an awareness of developing applications and technologies, evaluate the impact on existing system architecture, and the development of areas of specialisation.

Your profile
  • Strong customer service focused Network Engineer and passionate about improving user experience and service
  • Proven experience of networking and wireless in a large complex environment
  • Experience with Cisco routers/switches, Wi-Fi
  • Experience with DNA-Center/Cisco Spaces
  • Experience of enterprise level design, LANs, WANs and configuring VPN’s
  • CCNA/CCNP certification or similar (Cisco Enterprise Wireless preferable)
