Primary Supply Teacher Job - Islington

Salary: £150- £180 per day based on experience
Contract: Day to Day/Fixed Term
Hours: Full Time

Primary Supply Teachers are in high demand in our partnership schools in the Islington area. We work with many schools and, therefore, can offer you regular work. By working as a Primary Supply, you have flexibility on the days you wish to work. You can also choose if you would like to receive morning calls or to be pre-booked in advance. Applications will be accepted from qualified and newly qualified teachers (ECT).

The primary education team in London have a total of 30 years’ experience with some in the team with teaching experience. We understand what it is like in the classroom and will support you all the way through with up-to-date training and a dedicated consultant who will cater to your needs and call you weekly to see how your week has gone.

About your role as a Primary Supply Teacher
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you have will have strengths within early years, KS1 or KS2. You will need to cover classes delivering planned lessons set by the class teacher or sometimes your own lessons for unplanned sick cover.

Some of your other duties will include:
• Managing behaviour in the classroom
• Becoming familiar and acting on school policies and procedures
• Marking all the work at the end of each lesson
• Leaving a handover for the class teacher

What you will need to succeed
** You will need to hold QTS
** Experience working within a primary classroom
** Good behaviour management and organisational skills
** You need to be flexible and willing to travel around the Islington area
** You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
