Hays are currently supporting an exciting Retail and Manufacturing company within the creative industry based in Birmingham City Centre. They are looking to recruit on a 3-6 month basis for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is office based with flexi-time.

Your new role

• Receiving and distributing invoices via Adobe for approval
• Maintaining a shared mailbox, actioning, and answering queries in a timely manner
• Coding and processing invoices accurately to make sure payments are correct and on time
• Requesting and reconciling monthly supplier statements
• Preparing and processing payment runs
• Working with suppliers and staff internally to answer queries
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties including pulling together accruals
• General accounts administration
• Daily Cashbook maintaining and cashbook journals
• Any adhoc tasks required by the AP Manager or by the business

What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous Accounts Payable experience
- You must be able to work onsite 5 days a week
- Previous Sage 1000 experience is desirable
