1st & 2nd Line Support - £180-200 Per Day - 3 months - Higher Education Sector Experience
Your new company
A renowned London university is seeking an experienced 1st & 2nd line support technician to join their busy service desk team and offer staff and students 1st and 2nd line support on a variety of issues.
Your new role
The ideal candidates will have a track record of success in the public sector as a 1st & 2nd line support technician. You must have prior experience offering help to a variety of users in a demanding setting.
What you'll need to succeed
Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to handle high priority requests with tact and diplomacy
Strong/Previous experience working in the Higher Education Sector
Strong experience providing helpdesk support both online and telephone support
Previous experience working with a ticketing system and call logging
Passionate about technology and have a positive can-do attitude.
Excellent telephone manner
Microfocus iManager or Microsoft ADS
Excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise between competing tasks and deadlines
Self-motivation and management of your own workload
