1st & 2nd Line Support - £180-200 Per Day - 3 months - Higher Education Sector Experience

Your new company
A renowned London university is seeking an experienced 1st & 2nd line support technician to join their busy service desk team and offer staff and students 1st and 2nd line support on a variety of issues.

Your new role
The ideal candidates will have a track record of success in the public sector as a 1st & 2nd line support technician. You must have prior experience offering help to a variety of users in a demanding setting.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to handle high priority requests with tact and diplomacy

  • Strong/Previous experience working in the Higher Education Sector

  • Strong experience providing helpdesk support both online and telephone support

  • Previous experience working with a ticketing system and call logging

  • Passionate about technology and have a positive can-do attitude.

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Microfocus iManager or Microsoft ADS

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise between competing tasks and deadlines

  • Self-motivation and management of your own workload
