Your new company is a global Engineering Business within the Defence Manufacturing Sector. They are a world-renowned leader in their manufacturing processes and a key partner to numerous blue-chip organisations. Due to an increase in order book, they are looking to increase their Design Team from a headcount of 16 to 21, as they continue to win work and expand operations. Their team is built up of a range of experience and expertise, from Junior Designers to Experienced experts in their field with over 20 years of experience.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you and the team will be responsible for the delivery of engineering projects on time and on cost. As a team, you will be ensuring technical performance standards are maintained and to meet customer specifications and needs This role will be a fully encompassing opportunity, so you will spent time meeting customers & suppliers, design reviews and product improvement meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline and have experience within Design Engineering. Desirable knowledge would be experience in design, testing, and development of systems with experience in designing from original concept design, through to production.

In return, you will receive an excellent base salary of between £40,000 and £52,000. There is scope for this role to be a Senior/Lead role too.
