Marketing Executive / Senior Marketing Executive Job - Ipswich, Suffolk - Up to £35k

Your new company
Hays are supporting a B2B business who are looking for a Marketing Executive or Senior Marketing Executive to join their head office on the outskirts of Ipswich. Working across some of the UK's major construction and infrastructure developments, the business is experiencing significant growth and is keen to expand the marketing team with this key permanent appointment.

Your new role
Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you will help the marketing department achieve its short-, medium- and long-term goals by delivering impactful and targeted marketing campaigns across existing and potential clients within the UK construction sector. This will include but is not limited to:
  • Plan, execute and manage impactful marketing campaigns to existing clients and prospects across different project, client and industry sectors.
  • Define and create targeted segments for marketing activity to maximise campaign engagement and deliver marketing qualified and sales qualified leads.
  • Create engaging content to help increase marketing leads and opportunities to quote delivered via multiple channels including email marketing, website, digital advertising and social media.
  • Analyse, share and present data on all key marketing activities to ensure decisions and improvements can be made quickly and effectively.
  • Manage organic and SEO activities to drive search rankings and grow website visits and engagement
  • Suggest and implement website changes and improvements working alongside the web, digital and copywriting agencies to ensure our content remains fresh, relevant and of use.
  • Drive digital advertising opportunities to help increase our marketing qualified leads, supported with automated lead nurture activities
  • Use marketing and sales funnels to support the department to automate its marketing activities from campaign through to post survey feedback.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need previous experience in a B2B marketing position, with strong knowledge of digital marketing tools including email marketing platforms, social media, SEO, content marketing strategies and website CMS.
Experience within the construction or engineering sectors is desirable.
You will be a confident, professional and positive individual who is able to work with multiple departments across sales, operations and business development, as well as external agencies.

  • Head office is based on Ipswich outskirts, but flexibility to work 1 day per week from Norwich or Brentwood offices.
