I am working with a dynamic team working on a diverse range of projects, from custom machinery interfaces to nationwide software applications. Our clientele ranges from internal businesses within a diverse corporate group to independent veterinary practices. They are seeking individuals who are passionate about tackling new challenges and exploring innovative solutions.
Your new role
You will participate in project meetings and conceptual design discussions. You will be responsible for small sections of work, under the supervision of your line manager, eventually leading to ownership of individual projects. As you become an integral part of our team, your contributions will be vital. We encourage creativity and flexibility in how you approach your work, as long as you deliver results.
What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking candidates with a keen interest in software development and the ability to demonstrate some of the following skills:
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Core (additional languages such as VB.Net and Android Kotlin are appreciated)
- Experience with Entity Framework & General ORM
- Web Development skills using ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MVC and Blazor
- Familiarity with deployment methodologies including cloud and container-based solutions
- Database design and SQL operations
- Ability to intelligently and efficiently debug existing and new windows applications
- Experience in organising and contributing to ongoing large-scale enterprise solutions
- Proper use of source control and a commitment to best practices for well-run development streams
What you'll get in return
In return for a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, we offer a competitive salary (based on experience). This is a remote-based role. Our continually evolving diagnostic laboratory site is conveniently located near shops, transport connections, and food and drink facilities. Benefits include 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays (increasing by 1 day per year up to 5 years), a company contributory pension, and access to our company share save scheme.
