IT Support Technician Contract - Bristol
Your new company
Working for a renowned Education organisation in Bristol to join their IT Support team until the end of August 2024.
Your new role
You will work in the team that provides the IT Help desk and Floorwalking Services:
- 1st and 2nd line hardware/software fault diagnosis and resolution including the (re)building/resetting of devices.
- Assist and advise our customers on the IT Desk.
- Show great customer service skills, responding to issues in a timely manner with excellent communication skills and offering high quality customer service through engaging with all customers.
- Liaise with vendors to arrange onsite and return-to-base repairs.
- Provide assistance with equipment set-up/moves/tear down.
- Maintaining accurate asset records throughout asset lifecycle.
- Working to continuously improve and enhance service delivery within IT Services.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous 1st/2nd Line Support experience
- Experience with: End-user hardware, e.g. desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones, Windows, macOS operating systems and Audio visual technology.
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail
