Hays Recruitment in Newcastle are currently working with a local organisation to recruit an IT Support Analyst. The successful candidate will be expected to deal with several technologies including: Windows Service, Windows 10, 8, 7, Firebird SQL Server, Network and local printers, general networking and office applications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve critical software issues

• Take ownership of cases through resolution

• Assist other members of the support team

• Ensuring KPIs are met

• IT Support via phone and email

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Previous software support experience is desirable

• Strong troubleshooting stability

• Highly motivated

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Strong time management skills

• Good documentation skills

• ITIL

• Able to work well as part of a team and individually
