Right now, we are seeking an Interim Test Manager with experience in Trust Integration and Procurement Systems within the NHS or life sciences industry.

Your new role
You will lead the implementation of our Trust Integration Engine and develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans, ensuring a thorough evaluation of all system aspects. As a leader, you will also mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Your role is not just about managing tests; it's about leading the charge towards excellence, inspiring your team, and shaping the future of our Trust Integration Engine. Your commitment to quality, your leadership, and your technical expertise will make a significant impact on our product and our company. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure complete test coverage. Your expertise will be crucial in executing both manual and automated tests, identifying every potential issue. You will also be responsible for identifying, reporting and tracking defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a contractor who has spent at least 5 years in the software testing field, specifically within the life sciences or health industry. A minimum of 2 years should have been spent in a test management role. You should possess a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools and have hands-on experience with testing web services, as well as creating and executing both manual and automated test cases. Candidates with experience in Trust Integration and Procurement Systems are highly desirable. You should be familiar with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies and possess excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills. Having an ISTQB or similar testing certification will be considered a plus. It is crucial that you have experience in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector and have experience with testing of HL7 messages.

What you'll get in return
In return for your expertise and dedication, you will receive a daily rate of up to £525, out of scope of IR35. While the initial contract period is set for 6 months, there is a high likelihood of extension well beyond the end of the year.
