1. Cost Estimation and Analysis:
   • Accurately estimate the cost of construction projects related to social housing.
   • Analyse data to prepare budgets and subsequent valuations.
2. Procurement and Material Management:
   • Procure subcontractors, materials, and goods following established procedures.
   • Implement a payments system for subcontractors and material suppliers.
3. Budget Control and Site Costs:
   • Prepare commercial cost appraisals and feasibility analyses.
   • Monitor site costs and budgets throughout development.
   • Ensure cost overruns are within tolerance levels.
4. Site Development Support:
   • Collaborate with site development teams to achieve targets.
   • Contribute to conceptual designs/options for site valuation.
5. Team Management:
   • Manage the work of the surveying team.
   • Provide clear guidelines and support for team members.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
   • Ensure compliance with group IT systems.
   • Report to the Commercial Director in a standardised format.

• Proven track record in a similar role or at the level of Quantity Surveyor.
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
