DT Teacher job at the Oldershaw School in Wallasey

Oldershaw School is an 11-19 co-educational comprehensive situated in Wirral, which is an easy commute from Liverpool and Chester. We have a proud history of a hundred years of success, and we believe in the very highest standards and expectations to provide a rich and challenging education for every student.

We are over-subscribed, expanding and were rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and ambitious Teacher who can make a significant contribution to help us on our journey to an excellent rating.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-supported department which is undergoing an ongoing refurbishment and investment programme. Facilities include a broad range of both wood and metal machinery, 3D Printer, Laser Cutter and two food technology suites. The Trust Board and Senior Leadership Team are committed to further development of technology and new technologies.

We are looking for strong subject knowledge and someone who is willing to work hard. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver both Food Technology and Design Technology lessons, they will be committed with a passion for teaching. They will set high standards and be prepared to fully embrace innovative approaches and have a genuine desire to see students achieve their full potential.
