About the organisation
My client is a not-for-profit in the healthcare sector. Their Marketing team is rapidly expanding as they are implementing a new marketing strategy over the coming years with a focus on acquisition.
About the role
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the marketing strategy and development and delivery of a digital marketing plan to support strategic goals, and the achievement of budgeted targets through targeted digital activity to drive awareness and engagement.
Responsibilities include:
- Management and development of the brand website
- Leading social media strategy and delivery
- Implementation and evaluation of digital advertising initiatives
- Advise the wider organisation on areas of digital innovation, digital integration with other projects, and optimal digital methods for internal communications and recruitment
- Digital marketing strategy: leading the overall direction of digital marketing efforts
- Content marketing strategy
- Employee-facing digital strategy
- Website strategy, optimisation, and management
- Digital campaign management
- Social media strategy
- Make recommendations on affiliates and online directories
- Brand’s online presence and profiles
- Stakeholder engagement
- Reporting and analytics
- Development and implementation of CRM strategy
- Vendor and agency management
- Team leadership and development
- Budget management
The ideal candidate
- Significant digital marketing experience across the full digital spectrum (web development and management, SEO, PPC, digital advertising, affiliates, platform directories, email marketing and social media)
- Evidence of creating strong digital marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices
- Significant experience of using and tracking digital marketing for online lead generation
- Experience in managing integration with a CRM system
- Significant evidence of creating, managing and evaluating effective brand digital marketing campaigns
- Significant evidence of website management, content optimisation and development, and technical performance improvements
- Significant professional social media experience and expertise growing audiences and improving engagement at a brand and multi-site level
- Significant experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
- Experience of managing third parties and colleagues in optimising UX and design
- Significant demonstrable experience of email marketing creation, management and evaluation
- Experience with brand guidelines and adhering to them
- Experience of using data, metrics, and analytics across digital and social media to inform marketing plans and campaigns
- Experience of line management and development of others
