Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in Science or a Related Discipline: A solid educational foundation in a scientific field is essential. Whether it’s biology, physics, chemistry, or earth sciences, your expertise will be the bedrock of your teaching.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): This certification demonstrates your competence and readiness to lead a classroom. It’s typically included as part of a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) course.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver High-Quality Science Teaching:

Stay abreast of national trends in education and science, adapting your teaching methods accordingly.
- Student Support and Discipline:
Work closely with pastoral teams and parents/carers to support learners.
Maintain consistent discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Professional Development and Training:
Engage in staff training, sharing insights and best practices.
Cover classes for absent colleagues when needed.
- Administrative Duties:
Attend meetings and carry out administrative tasks related to courses.
Provide statistical data and information as required.
- Promote equality and diversity:

Support marketing efforts both within and outside the school.
