Your new role

• Conduct thorough credit assessments and ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.
• Actively monitor and manage customer credit limits, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to mitigate potential risks.
• Proactively communicate with customers to resolve outstanding payment issues, negotiate repayment terms, and establish payment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, payments, and transactions.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales and customer service to resolve any credit-related concerns.
• Prepare regular reports and analysis on credit control activities, highlighting trends and recommending improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller, with a strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
• Sound knowledge of credit risk assessment, debt collection, and legal regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using credit control software and MS Office suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
