Your new company

A well known graphic design company, based in Glasgow City Centre, is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Credit Controller. This individual will join the team on a permanent basis. The position will be conducted on a hybrid working arrangement with the hours of work being Monday to Friday, 8;30am to 5pm. On-site parking is available with great public transport links.

Your new role

In your new role you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties; drive Credit Control involvement in new account-set up and monitor early implementation, identify process improvement potential for existing clients, proactively manage customer payments and maintain accurate financial records,-allocation of receipts on system and to resolve disputed accounts, to ensure all customer receipts are made in accordance with payment terms and prepare and distribute month end reports set up new customer accounts to establish good working relationships with all customers.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar position with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also have the ability to communicate clearly with others in both written and verbal formats. The correct individual must also have good attention to detail as this will be required regularly.
