Job Opportunity: Junior Credit Controller

As a key member of my client's finance department, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and supporting their credit control processes.


Your new role:


As Junior Credit Controller in this expanding manufacturing organisation in Newport, you will be responsible for managing credit control, accounts receivable, risk assessment, reporting, relationship management duties and other ad hoc tasks to support business needs. The core responsibilities for this role are as follows:


  • Credit Control: Monitor and manage outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment from clients. Processing sales invoices in a timely manner and chasing bad debt.
  • Accounts Receivable: Handle customer queries related to invoices and payments.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on credit control performance.
  • Building relationships: Create and manage internal and external stakeholders relationships effectively.
