Investment Product Manager

Our client is a highly reputable multi-asset investment management business located in either their newly refurbished London City offices or in Southampton. This is a 12-month fixed term contract for an experienced Senior Investment Product Manager to provide parental leave.

About the Role:
As a Senior Investment Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client’s investment proposition, requiring strong Product Management expertise to manage investment products, including fund launches, mergers, closures, and product reviews as well as consistently evaluating customer outcomes and supporting assessments of value.

In this role you will ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and corporate rules demonstrating relevant regulation knowledge to include UCITS and Mifid II which are crucial. You will also be experienced in comparing and contrasting investment solutions against competitors, market developments, and customer and adviser feedback, as well as driving enhancements to ensure product offerings are fit for purpose.

Your strong communication skills will be essential in influencing, persuading, and challenging individuals and collaborating with senior managers and board members.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Ideally, you’ll have 7+ years of experience in product development or product management roles.
  • Fund Changes: Proven track record of leading fund changes, including regulatory filings with the FCA, shareholder communications, and drafting internal governance papers.
  • Responsible Investment: Familiarity with Responsible Investment, ESG labels, and/or SDR is advantageous.
  • Independent Work: Ability to own and drive work independently.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Collaborate with senior managers and board members.
  • Write comprehensive product proposals, product recommendations, and specifications for product changes.
  • Present these proposals for approval to forums and committees.
