Join a Global Pharmaceutical Company as their Internal Communications Lead on a 6-month contract!

Internal Communications Lead - 6 month contract - Global Pharma Firm - London, Hybrid - up to £400 per day


Your new company

Your new company is a global pharma business based in central London. The firm operates globally, but this role will be focussed on the UK and Ireland hub to develop and deliver a strategy to enhance employee engagement through internal communications.

Your new role

This role will be a key member of the Communications function within the UK&I, responsible for developing and delivering a strategy to enhance employee engagement, motivate staff, and keep them connected to the company’s business objectives. You will be reporting to the External Affairs Director and will be responsible for establishing the UK Global hub as a great place to work by fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture. You will develop and deliver a strategy for engaging staff, deliver impactful bespoke events, and build relationships with key external partners for CSR activities and will also support the delivery of bi-annual conferences and regular speaker meetings, and lead the work of the internal network of UK & Ireland Site Communicators. Additionally, you will provide support for HR’s Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement teams to enhance their employer brand.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need around 6+ years of experience within an internal communications position within a global matrix organisation. You will need to have experience being hands on, delivering events, and working closely with senior stakeholders across a large business. Healthcare / Pharma experience is ideal, but not essential. As this is a temporary role, you will need to be immediately available or have a short notice period.
