Hays are representing a large commercial organisation to recruit a Marketing Communications Lead in Belfast.

Your new role

As Marketing and Communications Lead, you will deliver strategic and hands-on initiatives in marketing and communications for the company.
Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute strategies for marketing, public relations, media, and communications and collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to implement these strategies effectively.

  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials and press releases, utilising third parties where necessary.

  • Oversee and optimise social media engagement to enhance visibility and impact.

  • Keep the website updated and user-friendly.

  • Curate and manage a collection of images.

  • Design and adjust multimedia presentations, incorporating relevant visuals.

  • Handle AV setup for various presentations and functions.

  • Manage and oversee events.

  • Compile marketing analytics and reports for stakeholders.


What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a similar field.
  • Experience of managing both online and offline marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in executing, directing and optimising marketing and communication projects.
  • Proficiency in copywriting and editorial tasks.
  • Experience with the production and delivery of marketing materials.
  • Advanced IT proficiency as well as website management and experience managing social media for business.
    Desirable:
  • Prior experience with a marketing agency or in related sectors like PR, design, advertising, or digital.
  • A minimum of two years in a dedicated marketing and communications role, focusing on campaign management.
  • Capability to handle various projects for internal stakeholders concurrently.
  • A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel for work.

What you'll get in return
