Behaviour Specialist - Senior Leader
Introduction:
As a senior leader, you will collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to address behavioural challenges. Your goal will be to enhance student engagement, reduce disruptions, and foster a respectful atmosphere. You work closely with the school’s leadership team to implement behaviour management strategies.
Responsibilities:
Behaviour Intervention:
Identify students with behavioural difficulties and develop personalised intervention plans.
Implement evidence-based strategies to improve behaviour.
Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Positive School Climate:
Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
Conduct workshops or training sessions for staff and students on behaviour management.
Collaborate with teachers to create consistent behaviour expectations.
Individual Support:
Work one-on-one with students who require additional behavioural support.
Provide counselling or guidance to help students develop self-regulation skills.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect data on behaviour incidents and analyse trends.
Use data to inform decision-making and refine intervention strategies.
Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven track record in effectively managing student behaviour.
Understanding of Inclusion and SEN
Staying updated on educational trends, policies, and best practices
The ability to engage students at different ability levels.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
