Behaviour Specialist - Senior Leader

Introduction:


As a senior leader, you will collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to address behavioural challenges. Your goal will be to enhance student engagement, reduce disruptions, and foster a respectful atmosphere. You work closely with the school’s leadership team to implement behaviour management strategies.


Responsibilities:


Behaviour Intervention:

  • Identify students with behavioural difficulties and develop personalised intervention plans.

  • Implement evidence-based strategies to improve behaviour.

  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Positive School Climate:

  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

  • Conduct workshops or training sessions for staff and students on behaviour management.

  • Collaborate with teachers to create consistent behaviour expectations.

Individual Support:

  • Work one-on-one with students who require additional behavioural support.

  • Provide counselling or guidance to help students develop self-regulation skills.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect data on behaviour incidents and analyse trends.

  • Use data to inform decision-making and refine intervention strategies.


    Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Proven track record in effectively managing student behaviour.

  • Understanding of Inclusion and SEN

  • Staying updated on educational trends, policies, and best practices

  • The ability to engage students at different ability levels.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
