Business Development Executive, Global Events, London (Remote/Hybrid), £25,000-£35,000 (£60,000-£90,000 OTE)

Our client, a global Tech & Science Strategy Group focused on AI, are looking to recruit a number of Business Development/Sales Executives to join their growing business. Working on a hybrid basis (remote initially, but expected to be 2/3 days a week in a Central London location by the end of the year), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!

Our client's mission is to ensure that AI and emerging technology is inclusive, equitable and safe. They bring together the global AI ecosystem (from Enterprise/Big Tech to Start-ups and Investors) and are the world's most active AI community with over 250,000 members. As a business, they have 20+ years' experience in technology and large-scale festival-style summits/events, and are firmly at the forefront of AI innovation. Due to their sustained success/growth, they are now looking to add a number of new faces to the team, to build up both their Sponsorship and Delegate sales function(s). In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Registering C-level Executives from the biggest UK and European corporations to the business' invitation-only meetings/events/summits / selling sponsorship to the global events
- Researching/identifying potential delegates/sponsors whom would benefit from attending/exhibiting at the company's events
- Conducting outreach through calls, emails, and social media to introduce the event and highlight its value
- Tailoring approaches to different segments of potential delegates/sponsors, in order to maximise registration numbers and revenue
- Meeting/exceeding individual and team sales targets
- Developing and maintaining relationships with past and potential delegates/sponsors, in order to ensure continued interest and attendance at future events
- Working closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on messaging, promotions, and outreach efforts
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of delegate interactions, registrations, and feedback using CRM systems

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Minimum of 1 years' experience in B2B telephone sales (within a Tech/start-up environment)
- Proven track record of delivering targets and meeting KPIs
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding ability to collaborate and work well across teams/functions
- Genuine desire to earn fantastic money in commission
- Fun, sociable personality

In addition to a competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:

- Phenomenal commission structure (uncapped, however an expected £60,000 - £90,000 Year One OTE - based on very achievable targets)
- Start-up growth (incredible progression/ability to take on additional tasks/learning if desired)
- Hybrid-working policy (initially fully remote until the end of 2024/beginning of 2025)
