A senior consultant role with an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) services business.

Your new company
A leading provider of Environmental, Social, and Sustainability Governance (ESG) services. Their expertise extends to governments, large and complex corporate clients, and low-carbon technology providers. They combine systems engineering expertise with applied operational knowledge to enhance business performance, improve ESG ratings, engage employees in sustainability, and build resilience in a rapidly changing world.

Your new role
We are seeking experienced professionals to join a fast-growing sustainability practice. As a Sustainability Consultant, you will:
  • Utilise practical experience in areas such as IFRS S1/S2, CSRD, CS3D, ESRS, carbon accounting, EU taxonomy, climate risk assessment, lifecycle assessment, CBAM, and climate adaptation planning.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders, lead projects, and drive unprecedented change for governments, businesses, and society.
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of a decarbonised, climate-resilient society.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculating and managing Scope 3 carbon emissions.
  • Developing decarbonisation strategies and roadmaps.
  • Analysing sustainability reporting and using insights to improve operational performance (e.g., IFRS S1/S2, CSRD, CS3D, ESRS, TCFD, TNFD).
  • Sustainable procurement and due diligence.
  • Circular Economy, with a focus on eco-design (Design for the Environment) and technology integration for improved circularity.
  • Adaptation planning (e.g., Adaptation Reporting Power, UK Climate Change Risk Assessment, ISO14090 series, UKCP18 datasets/products).


What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of providing focused sustainability advice / consultancy ( in-house or external consultant).
Confidence in conducting numerical analysis, applying creative problem-solving skills, and presenting to senior executives
Effective collaboration, with experience of working as part of a dynamic team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to influence effectively.
