Product Implementation

Our client, a fast-expanding and long-established boutique asset manager based in the City of London, is committed to offering an ethical proposition to investors. As part of their continual growth, they have an exciting opportunity for a Product Implementation position, reporting directly to the Head of Projects.

Role Overview: Bridging Operations and Product Teams
In this role, you will be an essential link between project workstream leads and the product team. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the implementation of new products. Situated within operations, you will act as a moderator, ensuring that all changes align with broader business strategies and can be effectively supported operationally. If challenges arise, you will provide viable solutions within our clients' operating model.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaboration and Communication: Act as a moderator between the Product and Support teams, facilitating effective solutions. You will bring stakeholders together for discussions and work with third parties and consultants to deliver successful projects.
  2. Project Management: Assist the product team in defining, resolving issues, and closing gaps to realise project ambitions. Maintain task lists, timelines, and documentation, ensuring smooth project execution.
Candidate Profile:
To be considered for this role, candidates will demonstrate:
  • Strong Communication Skills: You’ll need to effectively communicate across teams and influence outcomes.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of UK Regulated Funds: Candidates with experience in regulated funds will excel in this position.
  • Change Delivery Expertise: Candidates must have experience of implementing change processes end to end, whether tactical or strategic.
  • Stakeholder Influence: You’ll engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, requiring adept communication and influencing skills.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Understanding current and future regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Product Knowledge and Fund Launches: A strong understanding of product elements and a track record of successful fund launches is essential to excel in the role.
