Bookkeeper/Management Accountant

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper / management accountant to join our team. We have a vast range of clients of all different sizes and industries, this position will provide plenty of variety, encompassing bookkeeping, management accounts preparation and VAT work. A good understanding of XERO, double entry accounting and practice experience is key to this role.

Desired skills and experience

· Recent and relevant bookkeeping experience including preparing and submitting VAT returns and reconciling control accounts

· Previous experience of preparing management accounts

· AAT qualified

· Xero certified

· Experience of Xero reporting, Datamolino, Concur, Expensify and Fathom desirable but not essential

· Ability to develop strong client relationships

· Hands on, diligent and able to demonstrate excellent client interpersonal skills

· Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task

· Good attention to detail

· Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook

· Team player with a strong work ethic and drive

· Ability to work under own initiative and to tight deadlines
