A dynamic and innovative media company that produces and distributes high-quality content across various platforms and channels. They are looking for an assistant accountant to join their finance team in the South of Bath.

Your new role

As an assistant accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance manager with the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, such as processing invoices, payments, and expenses, as well as reconciling bank accounts and ledgers. You will also assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, as well as providing financial analysis and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have a minimum of AAT level 4 or equivalent qualification, or be working towards it. You will also need to have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a media or creative industry. You will have strong IT and Excel skills, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work proactively and efficiently, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
