I am currently working on behalf of an established and growing organisation based in Co. Down to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their existing team. This organisation is renowned for its strong company culture, with low staff turnover and excellent benefits.

Your new role

Working within the existing team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Supervise and assist with monthly management accounts. Ensure all month end accruals and all cut-offs are accurate for monthly management accounts pack.

• Maintenance of key control accounts and intercompany balances.

• Deputise for Management Accountant during periods of absence

• Year end audit preparation and support during financial auditing of company accounts

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you should have 3 year’s relevant experience in a similar role with strong working knowledge of working up to trial balance and assisting with final accounts preparation. You should be well-organised and reliable with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
