Hays are working with one of Northern Ireland’s leading architectural practices, widely known for their creative design on small, medium and large scale projects across all sectors including residential, leisure, healthcare, commercial and education. Multi awarding winning and established for over 40 years, they have continued to grow and deliver exceptional buildings for their clients while offering their staff a collaborative and imaginative environment to work in. Whilst their main studio is based in Belfast, the practice have recently highlighted a business case to expand, at a senior level, their satellite office in Derry. This will be an elevated, platformed position for a Senior Architect with a headline name practice, allowing for the right person to take a progressive step in their career.

Your new role

This major NI studio offer a structured, supported platform for progressive Architects to excel, working on landmark projects across commercial, residential and office projects throughout the Northern & Southern Ireland. You’ll have an opportunity to showcase your talents and be part of cutting edge design work at the forefront of pushing boundaries through the work they do. With this senior level position comes the added responsibilities of project running in a lead position, business development & mentoring of junior staff. All of such to be supported by the organisation, with upskilling & relevant CPD opportunities where required.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll be a qualified Architect, ideally with 6-10+ years’ post qualification experience within an architectural practice. It is expected that you will be competent in carrying out the full range of professional services, having been involved on major projects and design through RIBA stages 1-6. This practice is looking for a technically astute Architect, with a depth of knowledge around NI / RoI building regulations and standards. Due to the workload they manage, you will be expected to be proficient in the use of ArchiCAD and or Revit software, with a literacy in BIM and associated packages.
