Commercial account handler job, remote, acturis user, up to 35K

Your New Company
Your new company is an independent Insurance Broker and Wealth & Financial Planning professionals, who offer their clients a friendly, personal, professional and Independent Insurance Broking service. They offer bespoke advice and service to Business and Financial Institution professionals. They provide commercial, liability,
D&O and PI Clients.
Due to expansion within the Commercial team, they’re looking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler with acturis experience.



Your New Job
In your new job as a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, you will be broking and arranging a wide range of policy types to meet client needs. You will also be handling premiums up to 100K, and placing new business both from internal referrals and client recommendations.

Along with building and maintaining client relationships by providing added value at each opportunity. In your role you will deal with a wide range of clients, which will include the following: Solicitors, Fund Managers, Food and Drink Manufactures and Startups. (Particularly in the PI/FI sector). Other responsibilities of your role will be for you to produce documentation for clients, prepare for and attend client review meetings. Lastly, you will be involved in the claims handling process from notification to settlement on a wide variety of matters. You will have the knowledge of a broad range of insurance policies which will include Casualty, Property & Financial Lines and use of Acturis is essential.




What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed you will need all-round good commercial insurance experience. Have a can-do attitude. The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment. Along with excellent organisational skills. A desire to develop strong client and insurer relationships. Strong technical commercial insurance knowledge, (Particularly in financial lines would be an advantage.) Acturis experience is essential, and you’ll be happy to work remotely apart from commuting to London twice a month. You will also need to have excellent organisational skills.
