Programme Manager position, part-time hours, social enterprise in Donegal, competitive salary

Your new company

It is a multi-award winning and leading social enterprise located in Carndonagh, Donegal. They work across 5 main areas, which include young families, children, young people, adults and enterprises. They have appointed Hays to recruit a Programme Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of people living with disabilities.


Your new role

As Programme Manager, you will guide up to 350 people with disabilities through the range of activities and programmes within the organisation's Workability Empowerment Programme. As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for liaising with the service users and assisting them to access the training, support, job opportunities, and in job support that the organisation offers. You will partner with service users, statutory groups, tutors, facilitators, training institutions, and other staff team members as required. In your role, you will support the Project Co-ordinator with an annual calendar of events and workshops including skills workshops, job networking events, disability job fairs and skill showcases. As Programme Manager, you will also be responsible for ensuring confidential information in relation to participants is updated on the database accurately. You will ensure all programmes are communicated as widely as possible to service users and the wider community and you will work with the Project Co-ordinator to ensure that the service is operating to the standard and above, in line with regulations.


What you'll need to succeed
As Programme Manager, essentially, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience working directly with people with disabilities. You will have experience planning, implementing and reviewing programmes for young families and individuals with a disability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and be able to work effectively under time and delivery pressures.
