Paralegal/Junior Lawyer for Government

Your New Role

As a Paralegal/Junior Lawyer in the legal team, you will report to the Senior Legal & Regulatory Affairs Officer and play a pivotal role in enhancing the team's capacity during a period of heightened activity. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing transactional and documentation support for the agency's activities.
  • Contributing to the development of legal processes.
  • Carrying out broad legal work with regards to block technology projects, debt management, commercial supply contracts, NDAs, and other transactional documents

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A Law degree or a qualification to practice law in England & Wales.
  • 2 years of experience in financial transactions and financial regulatory work or/and commercial contracts.
  • Exceptional technical, analytical, and contract drafting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines and a proactive, eager approach to learning.
  • SC clearance (highly desirable)
