You’ll be joining a team with mixed experiences and backgrounds, supporting you in your journey to success in the industry. Only one of its kind in Scotland, we also manage a large client account in-house.

The Opportunity

This opportunity is to work within the Accountancy & Finance specialism, which is Hays’ largest specialism across the UK & Ireland. You will operate across a professional market liaising with finance professionals to become a true recruitment expert within the finance sector, delivering first-class recruitment services to your customers in the local area. This opportunity would be suitable for both recent graduates and those considering a change to career. You don’t need recruitment experience – just the ambition and drive to make a difference and shape your own success.

You’ll receive industry-leading training and support from consultants all at levels, from Associate to Senior Business Manager. We will give you the tools and resources to be successful and make an early impact.

What can I expect day to day?

As a Recruitment Consultant you'll gain exposure to a range of activities and learn throughout. Some of your main responsibilities may include:

  • Part of a team who are driven to work hard but know when to have fun!
  • Identifying and building partnerships with new clients and candidates
  • Providing outstanding service delivery to your portfolio of established relationships
  • Sourcing new candidates and conducting thorough interviews
  • Handling the full recruitment process - from shortlisting through to offering the successful candidate their new job
