A school in South Gloucestershire are currently looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join their team. You will be joining a team of strong and supportive staff members dedicated to providing a curriculum that prepares children for their next stage. This School is a 2 form entry school, which has a high focus on inclusion and equality ensuring a high quality of teaching for the best outcome from their pupils.

Your new role

Starting in September, you will be working as a part time Year 5 Teacher in a class share, working alongside a KS2 specialist teaching assistant in a class of 28 pupils. Your new role will cover the course of term 1 and 2, with the potential to stay with the school into term 3. This is a part-time role, with the requirement for both planning and attendance to staff meetings. In this, you will get half a day per week for planning (PPA).

What you'll need to succeed

• Have teaching experience within the last 5 years
• Experience Teaching lower KS2 desirable
• Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status
• Good Knowledge of the English National Curriculum
