Your new school

A school in BS10 are looking to hire a new year 3 teacher, to join their team. This school is a two-form entry. The school is highly successful in many areas and has high aspirations to ensure that all staff strive for the development and excellence of the students. Recently they have been judged by Ofsted and found the school to be ‘outstanding’ in all areas. Some of the school’s core values include independence, resilience, building courage and development of responsibility.

Your new role

This is a long-term full-time role, with the possibility of becoming permanent. You will have full responsibility of the class, which includes planning delivery and marking of lessons. The school are looking for someone who is patinate about teaching and will be able to hit the ground running. The class has 30 children in it, you will have an LSA in the room for 15 hours a week. The curriculum encourages creativity and independence and has the ethos that all pupils should be entitled to a good quality and engaging learning experience.

What you’ll need to succeed

• You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
• Experience in teaching key stage 2 is preferred but not necessary.
• A comprehensive understanding of the English national curriculum.
• You will need strong communication skills.
