 Utilities coordinator Job in Bristol

Engineering consultancy based in North Bristol (Aztec West) is looking to appoint a temporary Utilities Coordinator to join their busy team.

This is a TEMPORARY GOING TO PERMANENT role offering £18k for permanent contract.

The role will turn in to permanent after 3 - 6 months.

Working hours : 9.30am – 5.30pm

The main purpose of the role is to assist in the production and completion of utility search reports for internal and external clients

The company also operates free bus services for the employees to travel form /to :Bradley Stoke, Parkway Train station, Clifton and Temple Meads

Some of the duties will include:

  • Ensure all new requests/orders are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with business processes
  • General administration, e.g. filing, opening post, scanning, making paper reports and data input
  • Correspondence with clients such as order confirmations and forwarding responses
  • Where needed liaise with other teams/clients/utility companies to resolve issues (i.e. missing or wrong plans)
  • Monitor in-coming and out-going workload, and inform the Service Delivery Leads/Team Leader of any issues
  • Build up relationships with Utility Companies
  • Assist with invoicing, quotes and payments when needed

This is is an administrative /customer service role that will require to use few in house systems. Successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and ability to communicate on various levels and provide customer support to external customer when required.
It would be an advantage to have some CAD experience

The successful candidate will be:

  • Educated to GCSE “O” level standard or similar- Desirable
  • CAD 
  • Computer literate- previous use of Microsoft packages or similar
  • Conscientious, attention to detail, customer focused, able to prioritise workload, good communicator both verbal and written
  • Enthusiastic, able to adopt a flexible approach to varying workload.
  • Ability to identify, analyse, prioritise and resolve problems
