A Technical Support Officer, for a manufacturing company in Bradley Stoke.
Your new role
TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
Receive technical calls from clients providing solutions to queries regarding general problems.
Identify the problems and provide all the information for the analysis of the cause and corrective measures.
Manage the solution to technical queries and incidents that cannot be immediately resolved.
SPARE PARTS:
Receive and process requests for spare parts, identifying the parts from the information given by the client.
IMPROVE PROCEDURES:
Detect and propose continuous improvement action that maximise the work procedures.
Ensure the updating and accuracy of the data bases of the department.
Ensure the achievement of the established deadlines in the action where it is required.
Comply with the regulations in force in the field of data protection and access to information.
Ensure compliance of health and safety regulations in the workplace, according to the established procedures and current standards related to risk prevention in the workplace.
What you'll need to succeed
Good Customer Service Skills
Ability to problem solve
A engineering/Electrical background would be advantageous but not essential
Good IT Skills
