Your new job

Your new job as a Telehandler will involve assisting with the day to day running of the site. This could involve assisting trades persons with the movement of materials within the site as well as cleaning and ensuring general tidiness is maintained. You may be asked to do some general labouring if it gets quiet and will be required to get out of the cab.

What you need to succeed in your new job

In order to succeed in your job as a Telehandler you will need to be comfortable in undertaking manual work. You’ll need to have excellent attention to detail, awareness of health and safety procedures and have knowledge of different building materials. You will need: CPCS/NPORS, Hi-vis, Hard Hat, Steel Toe, Capped Boots. If you have SSSTS that would also be a strong advantage.

What you’ll get in return

In return for undertaking your job as a Telehandler you will receive a competitive hourly rate of pay. A decent contract length and if your contract doesn’t extend, then Hays will look to secure your next placement upon receipt of a positive finishing reference.
