You will be working as a teaching assistant providing one to one support for a pupil with Autism in a Year 5 class. This is a ‘Good’ rated school based in South Liverpool.
Your new role a teaching assistant will see you provide one to one support for a pupil with Autism in a Year 5 class. You will support this child throughout the day including break times. This pupil requires the necessary support to stay on task and remain integrated in the class. You will support this pupil with phonics in an attempt to improve their speech and language.
In order to be successful in this role as a teaching assistant you must have the following:
- Experience in the last two years working as a teaching assistant
- Experience providing one to one support for primary aged children
- Good understanding of SEN children
- Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
If you are successful in your application for this teaching assistant role you will earn competitive rates of pay between £69 and £76 based on experience. You will receive ongoing training and holiday accrual. Finally you will receive the opportunity of a permanent position once this temporary contract finishes.
