Qualified Lawyer required for a leading LLP based in Manchester to deal with tax advisory and litigation

This is a large, international consultancy practice that deals with a wide range of legal, advisory, private, audit, financial and tax matters across a wide range of industries and areas. The company operate and have offices in over 100 locations worldwide and are a market leader in their field.
Your new role
The company are looking to expand their offering with a tax lawyer or tax professional who has gained over two years of tax experience. The role will involve a range of consultancy matters, with around 50% of the work being litigation. The role involves liaising and dealing with a range of high street retailers, betting/gaming firms, publishers and other household businesses in complicated VAT matters. There will be also contentious advisory work where if matter does go to litigation.
What you'll need to succeed
This is an ideal role for an individual who has gained previous experience working within tax or tax litigation/advisory. You must have a good academic record, such as a relevant degree and respectable grades. It is essential that you have a solid interest in conducting this type of work long term.
What you'll get in return
If successful in your application to this position, you will receive a competitive salary which is in line with or better than the market rate comparable with law firms in this area. It would also be dependant on your precious experience within this area. The firm operate a good hybrid working system, and you would be expected in the Manchester office 2/3 days per week.
