Hays is pleased to be partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation, who due to significant and sustained growth, are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team.

Your new role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will report to the Senior Management team, and lead and manager the overall recruitment for the business from strategy to execution and provide effective solutions to any talent acquisition requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Own and drive all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle
  • Collaborate with hiring manager and stakeholders ensuing clear reporting and communication
  • Manage requisitions and candidates from initial recruiter screen to hire
  • Point of contact for all aspects of the recruiting process, owning reporting on internal recruitment trackers and systems
  • Share technical recruiting knowledge with peers across talent acquisition
  • Repost and share market knowledge across the organisation
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, coaching and developing others
  • Provide hiring managers with appropriate information, pre and post interview
  • Participate in ad-hoc process improvement projects
  • Build the recruitment function from the ground up

What you'll need to succeed
  • A minimum of 3 years working within a Talent Acquisition team
  • Track record of recruiting across technical and corporate functions
  • Ability to adapt and upskill at pace
  • Tract record in managing multiple job requisitions at any one time
  • Experience of lifecycle candidate management, for requisition through to offer negotiation and hire
  • Track record of recruiting using applicant tracking systems
  • Demonstrate a high level of data integrity, skills in using excel and a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in talent/candidate attraction; sourcing, networking and identifying pipeline of candidates and building a strong talent pool
  • Excellent candidate management experience
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong market research skills
