Up to £24,000 + £2650 On-Call

Hays IT have been engaged by an expanding organisation to source a Systems Administrator to join their busy team. The IT Systems Administrator provides day-to-day support, trouble-shooting and problem-solving for server hardware, software, network and related computer systems and peripheral devices. The role ensures the effective operation and configuration of all IT systems. All IT Support staff are required to participate in the IT on-call rota as detailed in the ‘IT Out of Hours’ Policy.

Your new role
Administer Active Directory Services and Company Group Policies
Implement changes (e.g. improvements, upgrades, migrations) to existing systems whilst minimising the business impact and risk.
Mitigate security vulnerabilities identified from internal or external scanning.
Proactively monitor IT systems and conduct preventative maintenance when necessary.
Data Security Manage back-up and recovery operations, monitor activity to ensure correct operation.
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for IT Helpdesk
IT excellence and system delivery is achieved - all IT systems and processes are being adhered to consistently with minimal errors
System uptime is achieved in line with business needs.
Changes to systems are co-ordinated, tested and understood with minimal disruption to business activities System security is maintained.
Support and advice is provided in a professional and friendly manner so that issues are diagnosed and resolved as quickly as possible.
