Your new company
An established children’s residential service is looking for temporary Support Workers to cover a variety of shifts, for example days, nights, sleeps, and waking nights. The service provides 24-hour support for children and young people with autism, ADHD, LD, and mental health.
Your new role
You will provide consistent care to young service users by assisting with their daily living, education, and domestic activity. You will promote team activities and encourage the service users to take part. Driving the children to school, appointments, and activities will be an element of the role so drivers are preferred, however not essential.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years within a social care setting, preferable children but adults experience will be considered. You will also have 20+ hours of availability per week, and the drive to work alongside vulnerable service users in a secure setting.
