Stock Controller / Merchandiser opportunity with a reputable business in North Manchester - £25k

Your new company is a highly successful and reputable manufacturer based in North Manchester. Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity has opened for a Stock Controller / Forecaster to join the team.
Your new role
The Stock Controller will be responsible for analysing weekly and monthly sales data to identify any stock related trends. Working with key customers, you will allocate stock to each key account depending on demand and requirements. You will work with other departments in the business to coordinate stock orders for any upcoming promotions, and you'll also report on any under-performing or slow moving stock.
The Stock Controller will keep in regular contact with overseas factories to ensure orders are manufactured within the agreed lead times and will then maintain accurate lead times to assist with stock / inventory forecasting. You will also work closely with the warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock keeping and stock locations.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior stock forecasting experience
Proven experience in sourcing goods from the Far East / working with suppliers in the Far East
Intermediate-Advanced level of Excel - including VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables and IF functions
Strong analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
