Your new role

As a senior member of our Software Development team, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. SAS is our bespoke in-house CRM system which has been in development for 10 years and is central to the smooth and efficient running of our business. Several years ago, we moved over to being a paperless business in which SAS has been integral, this has allowed our departments to interact seamlessly further increasing efficiency.

They need you to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of our SAS software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Their preferred candidate will be required to write clean, documented code across the backend SAS system, to add new functionality to SAS and improve the existing architecture. The ability to plan and test your own code’s functionality, to manage and carry out code reviews, conduct quality testing of software produced by other team members promoting reliable and secure software.

SAS is managed and developed by a team based here in the UK and internationally, and you'll work directing this team, using your project management, business analysis and development skills to promote software maintenance and improvement.
