This business is a large Contractor working within the Public Sector where you will be working within various sites and locations including; offices, libraries, hospitals and other public buildings. The company specialises in offering low carbon energy solutions and commercial refurbishment works and has a growing number of contracts across the Cheshire region. Due to a large pipeline of new contracts, they are looking to grow their team and require a full time Site Manager on a permanent basis

Your new role
As a Site Manager you’ll be working closely with a Project Manager on site where you’ll be expected to take control of various projects and day to day tasks where you will primarily be focused on the management of; Refurbishments, External Works, Re-roofing, Insulation as well as other M+E works. Your responsibilities will be; delivering tool box talks/inductions, keeping accurate site reports, ensuring the highest quality of work from start to finish of projects, in addition to;

• Working closely with the project manager to plan projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
• Fully comply with health and safety guidelines
• Responsibility and management of specialist sub-contractors
• Ensuring maximum productivity is achieved from the team

What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need relevant experience of Site Management within Commercial Maintenance and Public Sector. You’ll also require up to date SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications as well as a full UK driving licence. You will ideally have knowledge and experience from a wide range of Construction backgrounds.

What you'll get in return
A competitive salary, offering £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE). This includes a van or vehicle allowance plus company benefits.
